SelfLube is Joining The American Mold Builders Association at The Annual Conference

1 May 2015

SelfLube will be at the American Mold Builders Association (AMBA) annual conference, held this year on May 6-8 in Indianapolis. As the leading U.S. manufacturer of precision mold components, SelfLube will have its product line on display and will include its Trunnion Lifter Slides.

SelfLube Trunnion Lifter Slides are a great time saver because they automatically conform to any lifter rod angle thereby reducing machining and build time. SelfLube offers six different types with over 100 ready-to-install configurations. Each has an optional rod length adjustment feature and comes preset with angles of travel of up to 15 degrees. Tool builders prefer them for their durability and rugged design. All of the available Lifter Slides can be viewed in the Gib and and Slide Assemblies section on the SelfLube website. Each is available in five different formats that include: CATIA, Step, Parasolid, IGES and ACIS.

This year's theme, Impact-Influence-Ignite, is geared to motivate professional leaders across the country to share their best practices, learn ways to improve profitability from their operations, and become better leaders and in turn jump-start the growth of the industry.

Last year the biggest challenge the industry faced was limited resources with still having to meet the growth of the industry. To help offset this challenge - SelfLube pushed for the greater use of standard and semi-standard components. "Shops making the transition to more standardized components will off load low value added component making and free up resources for much higher value added work," explains CEO Phil Allor.
