Mexico Bound: SelfLube is Exhibiting for the First Time Ever at Plastimagen 2016 in Mexico City

9 Mar 2016

SelfLube will be displaying its product line of mold and die components at this year's Plastimagen Showcase. The show will be at the Centro Banamex in Mexico City. This will be SelfLube's first time ever exhibiting in Mexico.

This year marks the 20th edition of Plastimagen and is Latin America's  largest and most important business forum for the plastic's industry. Representing the company will be SelfLube's Sales and Marketing Manager, Greg Kirchhoff. "We are currently working with customers in Mexico, our goal with exhibiting at this year's show is to become better known in the local tooling community," explains Kirchhoff.

Back when SelfLube started in 1990, it primarily supplied components to mold, die and special machine shops in the U.S. and Canada. Kirchhoff adds, "this is no longer the case. Mexico is our main focus as we increase our presence on a more global spectrum. We want the world to know we are here and although a small company, we can run with the big dogs."

The company will have on display a variety of its products and will be featuring it new capabilities for custom wear strips - a popular item for SelfLube. With the show expecting nearly 30,000 attendees, SelfLube is expecting a positive outcome. SelfLube will be exhibiting at Booth 2336.

SelfLube is an ISO 9001:2008 registered company with seven successive audits with zero non-conformances. Its product line of 10,000 standard part numbers includes: wear plates, wear strips, bushings, parting line locks and many other related items. Selflube's full product line can be viewed on the company's website along with CAD models of each part number.
